Yeah, I've been following discussions online about ice thickness, the lack thereof, and the idiots that are driving vehicles and/or wheelhouses out onto the ice.  Sadly, some folks have not returned home safe, either.  You have to check ice thickness!

Only piece of ice-fishing gear I have right now is an ice skimmer.  Wally World finally has their meager stash out.  I need to start getting some stuff.....

Allen, I think we got what you were suppose to get down there. They were talking 12 inches here but only got 6. Thats alright it finally getting cold so should start getting some ice so we can hit the ice soon. Right now only the idiots out there on 2 inches, but talking cold all week so by next weekend maybe I can get out.

hhahaha  Cory; I have worked in Mich. more than once in the wintertime !!  one time it only snowed once while I was there--  from Oct. to Feb !!! snow white outs were common !!

Carl, It's not as bad as it looks. Winters been great up here. Usually we got 2 to 3 ft by now. First big snow of the winter. Tooty got me on here thought I'd enjoy it.
