Washed Out Gill.........
Most of the gills have the grapefruit colors today coming out of cold water..........This is by far the hardest time to catch fish on the Albemarle for me but I was happy to have a few takes today as January winds down........

Thanks John.......Many places I fish do not provide deep water for fish to retreat during the winter.......this particular oxbow only offers fish a small basin with no more than ten feet of water...........I didn't persuade many to hit but what I did catch was decent ........these fish will move shallow in March if the weather continues like it has.........
