Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Found these old lures in an old metal tackle box at a garage sale. Bought the tackle box for $5 bucks. Are these old wooden baits worth much? I want to try them out at our local lake this spring.

the bottom one is unique.the rest i have seen.the double prop isNOT t a dalton special.do some research before you fish those.even more common lures in certain colors can be quite valuable

Jeff;; usually  old wood lures are collectable; can be of value;  as for myself ; I wouldnt fish with them find out how collectable they were; price range . of course;; as with any thing collectable; depends on condition; and if the orginal box is also with them.  looks like you made a great find  right there !!

Great find I hang stuff in my basement when I find stuff like that ! I wouldn't want to lose those classics!  Is that a Dalton Special Dual prop bait !?

I have something similar to the big plug with the double props.  The two plugs right above that look like they have a diving lip.  The frog-colored one could be deadly.  Give it a twitch and it dives under, then floats back up, just like a frog.

That in-line spinner looks like you can change out the hooks.  Hold it up, let it dangle, and try to "unscrew" the wire coil on the bottom of the shaft, above the hook.  That coil should go up, towards the blade, then the tag end of the shaft will pop free, allowing you to swap out the hook.  That hook does look a little big....

The Super Duper is in an old package.  Those lures are still made; I know because I have a couple.  They work pretty good.
