okay, i am new, and not familiar with the nuances of NC fish talk
i have a fish book , what is a warmouth, what we called a rock bass in ellison bay wisc, ala door county my boyhood haunt and home in fifties and early 60's
Thanks guys.........growing up on the rice fields in southeast Louisiana we often caught 100 Warmouth on a trip using live grass shrimp, baby crawfish wacky hooked or popping bugs........loved those trips........we have a few mixed in here in coastal North Carolina but not the numbers I experienced in my youth........
Great picture Jeff!. used to catch decent size war-mouth along with the rock bass along seawalls and breaks into canals n the lake we had a cottage on in my youth ... i see im at the very northern edge of their existence here in mid Michigan i used to marvel at their colors during the spawn as a youth... you are holding a true monster in your hands as i know it.
WARM WEATHER GETTING CLOSER!!! JEFFERY HAS SO MANY NEW PLACES TO FISH AT!!
