Don't know Carl. When you fully remove all the fishes out of the waters, we'll call it Carl's Humbug. For now, Carl's Lil' Helper in the spirit of Christmas.

What do you picture it doing, or mimic'ing, Carl?

HOW BOUT "CARLS KILLER"

Comment by John Sheehan on December 12, 2014 at 8:22am

I'd call it " Santa Clouser"

Google "Clouser Minnow" and "Crazy Charlie" - you'll see the resemblance.

Id fill in the body a bit more, go to brown/orange and olive colors and call it a crayfish mimic.

Uh oh, careful - the name "Panfish Charlie" is already taken.

thanks Mark  and David  a pan fish Charlie it is then.  I;m going to make some up; with the hook  in up-- and down position;;  hopefully  to keep it from snagging bottom.

Kind of a Panfish Charlie/Clouser Minnow combo.
Go with white/olive/chartreuse colors and it's a streamer attractor.

Change the colors and dredge the bottom - it's a crawfish pattern.

You got a good thing there, Carl.

Thought it might be marabou but it doesn't look quite fluffy enough to be, from this pic.
