The Locals Were Catching Alot of Fish Too.....12/26/2016
A family of about six river otters were crushing fish in the shallows.....I couldn't tell what they were catching but they were close enough I could hear them chewing on their catch.......cool to see.....

I have yet to see an otter in the wild. Some of my buddies back in OK would see one every now and then. One of my buddies up here in MI runs traplines, and has a lot of video of otters, but I'm not sure when/if he has trapped one.

Yep Carl.......I was getting nervous that one might get hooked......they easily passed within 20 feet or less from the boat........but I never picked up my lines and they moved on...........
