Thanks Mike.....moderation of night time air temperatures is the most important thing right now.....this will stabilize water temperatures thus eliminating the up and down cycle which will in turn bring the fish shallow.....I've got a front row seat just waiting.......Good luck down in Texas!
Don't get a chance to any of those around where i live, but i caught some Cichlids yesterday which is also a indication that thing's are warming up.Nice Jeffrey.
Me too Don....looking forward to it for sure.......I caught more Warmouth....."goggle-eyed perch" as they are referred to in Louisiana.......growing up down there but I have a few places that always produce a few.......we used to hit the canals in southeastern Louisiana with popping bugs and easily catch a 100 a day in the 9 to 10 inch class......they clean easy with a thick shoulder and are a true delicacy..........
Nice, I can't wait until you can come down and fish with me and "Scruffy". The Warmouth are a little harder to find down here, but I manage to catch one every now and then.....and almost always along a weed-line.....Don
