Yeah, Ive seen so many in the last few days they kinda run together.

I'll see if I can find a decent deal on a few of those. Sometimes it gets kinda stupid with pricing. I saw one the other night - 49$

Thanks Tony

David, the snap bean comes in two sizes, 1" and 3/4" Also, the Matzuo nanocrank is available in 1" size (NC2)

This little Tadfry has caught a lot of fish.
The gills were smacking it as soon as it hit the water. I caught several that way. Ice also hooked some hefty bass on this very lure.

It's actually kind if a go- to for me. Well it used to be - now that it's a one of a kind, I'll sadly retire it.
It's the size, of course. The body is only 1" long... there is nothing else that size which I can find, except maybe an F2 Flatfish.

I have several mini crank baits;; haven't used them yet;; saw a post from Jim Gronaw about  using a nymph or something;; tied onto the back hook; about a foot long.  says its deadly... hmmm;;;  NOW I GOTTA TRY IT!!!

David

Artlure is just fishing with plastic artificial lures, no bait or flies. Looks like you got all bases covered :)

That lure does look intriguing ... thats one thing ive never tried is ul crankbaits. Ill have to give them a shot.

I have no idea what you're talking about! You keep up with the international angling scene, I guess.
I have switched up, though - the pond is gone and Im fishing big waters now. I've also got a hybrid canoe-yak, fish finder*, etc
Out of necessity, the little flies and delicate presentations of fly fishing now share time with bigger, stouter work.
I range from fly rod, to UL and light spin, and end at med/heavy spin. I can use all of these on any single trip, so I have them along. I'm getting two rod holders soon, and could conceivably bring one or two moreover usually start out with fly casting until the wind gets up. Them I move to spinning and vertical presentations over schooling fish and structure.
Eventually, I'll settle for just a few once I get things figured out on this BOW.
I was fishing the Tadfry around docks and rock banks on light spinning gear when it started hitting.

Thanks to Ken Sobanaki

I hear you.... Didn't realize you were becoming an Artlure Specialist. Key is not to use them tipped. Huge fishing discipline  in South Africa.

Yeah Joe, Ken... I've seen a lot of different ones.
There none like the Tadfry, but options exist.
I actually found a great article that details the many different options.

Still I'm one of those that likes to use what works. I'm a little irritated they quit making them :(
