Swamp Gill Sunday......7/12/2020
Our surface temps have jumped up to 86 to 88 in open water on the Albemarle so decided to take a back creek and fished it for six and a half miles....lot of flooded hardwoods provide heavy shade....did find surface temps as low as 80 and a few gills were chewing today......splashed at first light and put it on the trailer at 0930 with a 91 degree heat index....Dog Days are here!
