Carl, you want a camera with a "burst mode", that will capture several images quickly. Some point-and-shoot cameras will do a 3- or 5-shot burst, higher-end models like a Nikon DSLR will capture as many images as you want when you press and hold the shutter down. I think the top-of-the-line Nikon has a capture rate of 20 frames/second. My old D40 would only get 2.5 frames/second. Of course, you'll need someone to act as a photographer for something like that.
