I've been fishing with some hoppers, but get better action with BH Wooly Buggers.  Maybe it's the shallow pond and creek I've been fishing, getting really warm.

I did have a small LMB absolutely hammer a hopper less than a second after splash-down last weekend.  THAT was interesting!
