Do you love big bluegill?
The flats are a big section of flooded cypress in a brackish water region that rarely exceeds two feet in depth.......fish are often hard to locate but on this day I used the stained water as a cover so I could cover a large area and ground zero produced more than a hundred gills.........what a blast!

We are casting these days ........it's difficult to get close to shallow fish to employ telescopics............crappie tend to hold but bluegill are naturally spooky in my opinion.......
...long-poling in 2 ft of water ... stealth mode
