That's Amazing Action . You got no time to learn Patience with all that action !LOL!
Spider rigging. Fun times!
Thanks John.......My team all had 1/32 ounce jigs on and we took several yesterday but lost most of the bigger ones......blue/white and pink were both slammed by these aggressive schools of juvenile fish........water temps between 56 and 60 in this zone.......it's something when the come through........we often have to recover our poles which do not sink.........and our terminal tackle takes a beating.........popular fishery in coastal North Carolina and Virginia but filled with alot of regulations.......I've been trolling with six poles out of my boat (maximum) and had all of them go simultaneously with striped bass........I've also caught six crappie in the same place but never simultaneously.....over a minute or so which is still a hoot to deal with...........
What a fishery after reading your reply Jeffrey! What bait/Lure did this "Schoolie" hit?
Thanks Allen .......yes this fish was caught on telescopic gear with a crazy fight.......we often lose everything when the largerest fish come through and our gear won't even turn them.......comes with fishing their spawning areas........it's actually hard to believe we catch so many panfish in close proximity to these large groups of striped bass.........but we've done it for years around the Albemarle..........
Nice little Striper! Were you using your telescopic gear? I bet that fish gave a nice fight!
