Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

This fish was captured on Jan 16 2010 thru the ice on Upper St. Croix Lake in Douglas County WI. I thought the markings were a bit bizarre

Ok...Ok...This strain now has a name.
It's a one of a kind fish, probably caused by some anamoly that only affects one in several million offspring....like me, it is very rare and only happens in nature when all the stars are alig

ned.

What's the limit on Modica's? Limit of five, with ten in possession.

My guess it is some type of pigment disorder that has affected the lateral line....I initially thought it was a weed until I saw the other side.

Bruce, share it with pond boss...someone there might have have a theory.
