Y'know, Jeremy, I sit out here in California in the San Francisco area and I look at pictures like this and just think to myself that I ought to move to where you live :-)

Beautiful catch!

I lived in Japan for 8 years, which caused the name of your town to pique my curiosity enough to look it up on Wikipedia, and sure enough, if it's named after Satsuma oranges which were imported from Japan. Small world indeed :-)

haha Your very close Jim. This was a 3 boat stringer. We caught all of these fish from about 7 till 11 that morning. Brought them in strung em up for a pic put them back on ice had some lunch and did it again that evening. That was the best weekend for fishing we had ever had because we did that every trip out that weekend off the boat house. Fri evening sat mornin and evening and sunday morning..... We also filled 3 coolers of catfish that we caught running trout lines at night. Sunday after lunch we started cleaning fish and between 8 people it still took us 3 hours to get everything cleaned and packed. Everything went into the kitty and we had our feast for the fouth of july fishfry a month early!

That looks like a 'three man' stringer! Wow!
