Tying the base of the jig. I'm using the #8 1/32oz sickle jig, mocked of the Matzuo jig, got from Nimrod's Tackle Custom Jigs for a good deal. Notice I only wrap down to slightly past the 1/2 mark of the entire hook's shank.
