Do you love big bluegill?
Bite was a bit sluggish as temperatures go up and down with lows in the 30s and highs in the 60s but fun to get out a little while and watch the quill disappear.......

Many would have missed out on those bass you picked up today Jim.......I can't say enough how important water temperature is and locating places a few degrees warmer......it's a factor in ponds, creeks, rivers and lakes alike...often more important than what you fish with in my opinion.....
Water at 60 degrees!?!? That's 5 weeks away from the Mason Dixon region. I had 44 today, and that was at the 'warm' end of the pond where surface water stacked up from WSW winds to 25 mph. I think that's the prime reason I caught fish today.
Hurricanes......probably not that early.....no land slides at sea level........minor earthquakes maybe......we should be good........Have fun and catch some gills.........I can handle that kind of pressure!
all i can say is buddy you are very lucky to have such a place to fish!! enjoy it!!
Keep hitting it Carl......luck will be on your side........it's also a benefit to fish such healthy tidal waters........They have to be there for an angler to catch them.........These are truly the most fertile waters I've ever seen. more than any place I've ever fished.......Brackish water rocks for many reasons.......
HOPE THE HURRICANES, LAND SLIDES, EARTHQUAKES, SUNAMIES , AND OTHER NATURALLY OCCURING EVENTS STAY AWAY FROM THOSE DATES.....WHOOPS FORGOT POLAR VORTEX'S TOO....
one of these days im going to find some good gills like you catch jeff! then it will be my turn !! LOL!!
