The weathers been off and on Dick .I always try to get out for a little while and catch a few .This day in May was nice! The Crappie have not been plentiful this year for me but yes decent size approaching 12".All the best pal and I want to say you are THE true Ambassador of this great site ,always making folks feel good and comfortable .Thanks for your humanity!

John looks like some nice water there and that crappie ain't shabby either.

Comment by John Sheehan on July 4, 2013 at 8:13am

Dick ,yours is a great plan ! I always fish a crank and a spinner slowly when targeting Crappie .I gotta say a Bucktail Jig and a spin /Jig are my normal go to lures for Crappie .Spoons and Cranks have their place too .
