I've smoked em in the past.......or grind em up for fish patties.....This year I only took photos.....Getting lazy in my old age I guess...lol!

Thanks everyone!......Good to be back on BBG after a loooooong winter!....I'm a summer person I guess!...lol!....I caught these "short head" redhorse on a plain hook with a lone nightcrawler and 1/4 ounce splitshot attached about 9" above the hook...Ijust casted into the rivers swirling waters and cranked in ever so slow across the sandy river bottom.....One could "feel' the "tap tap" of the redhorse picking up the bait.......Time to set the hook!.......I caught about 20 of these guys....all released....just fun feeling the rod bend once again after a long winter.....
