Do you love big bluegill?
March is on the way out and hopefully these cold fronts will go with it......doesn't hurt the crappie bite too bad but shuts other species down........just a few medium gills and several bass to 14".......

Had a break out day on the 30th of March last year.....going to visit this creek this afternoon and see what's happening.......
The black on these fish will almost appear like a gel coat next month at the climax of the spawn........the transitions that happen naturally in nature are somewhat amazing.......just a month ago these same fish were ice cold and their body was mainly a blend of white and light gold for color.......
Thanks Mark and Ron.......good luck and I hope you get out there this week and tear em' up........been a tough winter in a lot of places........I hope we're done too......
Pretty fish. Great Colors and markings. If the weather gods smile upon me I plan to get out on Wednesday. I'm really chomping at the bit as it will be my first outing of the year. The weather in Maryland has been way worse than the norm.Way more snow and cold than I'm used to. Hopefully those days are done! I'll report my results afterward.
wow nice fish Jeffrey
These guys are a blast on a telescopic rig.......can't describe how much fun it is when they are biting good!
