Solid Tidaal Crappie String to Close Out February 2016.......2/29/2016
Got out late today since our air temps jumped into the middle 70s........high winds but hunkered down in another local basin and worked some slabs over........27 total with a couple pushing two pounds..........fish in this 18 foot hole were suspended at 8 feet solid and tearing the jigs up........

Thanks Adam and Carl........almost like a spring time bite today..........almost...........a couple times the float disappeared in a heart beat...........gets the adrenaline pumping!

Saw some wild dogwood trees starting to bloom today in coastal North Carolina..........saw water temps as high as 51.6 this afternoon so we are trending in the right direction..........come on time change.............these crappie are becoming more aggressive as many strikes just plunged the float vice dragging it around first.............exciting times are just ahead.......Peach Cobbler from the Hendrix hair jigs is wrecking the crappie scene...........
