Do you love big bluegill?
Solid Gills on a Plain 1/32 Ounce Chartreuse Ball Jig Tipped.....
I often just fish the ball jig with live bait without any soft plastic especially early in the Spring and late Fall. This rig was pegged under a float at two feet fished in shallow transition zones, not yet hard to cover for gills....

Thanks Slip.......our fish are getting ready to flood the shallow coves and structures but right now they are sitting a little off shore in three to five feet of water but even today many fish in a nearby location have already moved in........the key to our area is to fish the shallowest areas first as they will warm up and the fish will move in more quickly than in creeks with water over ten feet available......
