Do you love big bluegill?

got tired of carrying 5 fly boxes in the boat and made this fly box; its a whoppin big fly box at 8" x 14" .a little foam a little glue and shazaam!!

Mark, be sure to check your state's laws on harvesting birds.  Grackles might be protected.

Wets are in the other box!  I was just experimenting with Allen's  purple starling (martin??) using turkey biots I colored purple with a sharpie for the body think its going to work out.  So biot body, peacock herl abdomen and a black soft hackle (chicken patch I think).  where are all the starlings?  I was hoping to harvest one with the red rider but no luck, ever try using grackle feathers?

I think you need some soft hackles to hang off those gorgeous poppers, though :)
