Standard bluegill, Sharon! Some females, especially in slightly stained water don't have very distinct stripes. Great work!!

there aren't any stripes, why do you think it's a bluegill?

That fish is a pure-strain bluegill, Sharon - no hybrid in her.  Congrats!

 Thank you, thank you. I was just about to give up on getting them to grow. That 1/2 inch means a lot to me. Wish it wasn't a hybrid.
