Six Pound Nine Ounce Largemouth……9/14/2022
So I tied on a splash jig and tipped with a live cricket…with falling water from a northerly wind….the drifted jigs around wood/heavy cover were the key…..we have dropped below 80 degrees for surface temperatures which enhanced the largemouth feed…..couldn’t get a good picture by myself and no other anglers were around…..I didn’t want to hold her in a warm live well so this was my best shot….she lives to spawn over seven next spring….
