no doubt these are going to be excellent killers !!  and as for tying bugs;;  a great way to  make your own flies and jigs;; and if  it does work;; a special thrill you made it !!

Thanks Jim Carl wanted a few to try so I made a few up for him. After I get somewhat proficient with the fly rod I may have to make a few up for myself.

Thanks Chris. We have black crickets around here but if you go to the bait shop they sell the tan crickets. Not matching the hatch but for some reason the tan cricket  really work good up north here although they are not the crickets in our area..
