Two people possible, yes. My wife?
Unlikely.
She's not the outdoors type.

I could probably add a seat back. It's just an insert.
There are also canoe seats that would work, kinda like a stadium seat.
I was also looking at adding oar sockets just aft of the middle seat. Theres just enough thwart there before the after taper begins. This thing is flat bottomed and has a sharp, dual-chine hull. This makes it more stable than a traditional canoe. How about a rowing canoe?

She looks like a sweet ride. Can you move one of the seat backs to the mid section? I had to add some pad eyes to my malibu to move mine but it works well enuff.

Haha, Carl!
Actually, I have plans for a mount, buddy. Maybe over the winter I'll construct the thing and look for a motor next season.

Thanks again Mike.
My main goals in a paddle boat were:
1. Get off the shore...
2. Do it safely...
3. In a fairly nimble craft...
4. One I can handle solo, to and from a truck bed...
4. Getting some elbow room in the bargain...
4. On a 400$ budget.
I'm not sure I could have met those criteria much better.

I'm sure that you'll catch a lot of fish from it!
