To me it looks like a hybrid striper because of the broken black lines. I do have a couple pixs in my photo's that I caught out of my pond.

That ain't no Striper, the forehead is to high.

FWIW, "Striper" is a common nick-name for White Bass.

that's a good one, it's small so it's difficult to make out the features, but i'm not quite certain

i'd like to get more feedback on what others think this fish is. I found a website that i think puts this fish in the category of a striped bass. Check it out: http://fishingalways.blogspot.com/2006/08/differences-between-yello...

Its a juvenile, but pretty sure its a white - broken lines, like dashes, below the lateral line would indicate a white.

Looked at 4 websites about this lake and they said nothing about white or yellow bass, BuT one site said there were stripped bass in the lake. Now I'm really confused

Hmmm

I'll have to find a book I have about telling the two apart.  I think a Yellow Bass has the front and rear dorsal fins slightly joined at the base, while a White Bass (we call them Sand Bass here in Okieland) do not have joined dorsal fins.
