Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

We were not quite prepared (or dressed) for a sudden change of weather. Fish didn't seem to mind though.

Andre- Believe it or not, we did pretty good. We geared up in waders (and everything else we had to put on) and caught some very plump 12 and 14 inch rainbow trout. We felt very sorry for some of them! Poor things... swiming around in all that cold water. We released them in a nice warm bath of clarified butter with a few spring onions as aroma therapy.

Ok what type of luck did you have with those conditions? Sorry but my narrow California mind can't believe it!

Thanks Mike!

I sorta pride myself on being prepared but that weather really snagged me. It was the middle of March in SE Oklahoma. Caught me totally off gaurd.
