Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

OK GUYS; I CAME ACROSS THIS IDEA A YEAR OR MORE AGO;; WRAP A PIECE OF WIRE EITHER THRU THE JIG EYE OR UNDERNEATH THE JIG EYE (( DEPENDS ON IF THE WIRE IS TO BIG )) THEN A SHARP TURN DOWN ON THE WIRE; PLUS; A SMALL U-TURN ON THE END OF THE WIRE;; RUN YOUR PLASTIC BAIT ONTO THE HOOK; INSERT THE WIRE THRU THE PLASTIC AND;; CLIP THE WIRE; TO THE BACK SIDE OF THE HOOK SHANK;; SUPPOSE TO KEEP THE PLASTIC BAITS ONTO THE HOOKS BETTER;;;; BASS PRO TIPS IS WHERE I GOT THE IDEA FROM;; KEVIN VAN DAMM

That is a Joe Robinson idea, too as published in his book Piscatorial Absurdities. I've tried it with 24 gauge floral wire and it works. Think someone on here wrote quite lengthy about plastics on jigs and told of this too.

HEY  MUSIC MAN;; DONT KNOW MYSELF IF GUITAR STRINGS WILL WORK;; ONE WAY TO FIND OUT;; GIVE IT A TRY;; LOLOL;;;;;;  THE WIRE I USED HERE; WAS A PAPER CLIP;; ACTUALLY;; THE WIRE WAS TO BIG TO GO THRU  THE JIG EYE; AND LEAVE ENOUGH ROOM TO PASS FISHING LINE THRU THEM.  SOOOO; I OPTED TO WRAP THE WIRE; UNDERNEATH THE JIG EYE.   NEED A REALLY THINNER WIRE TO PASS THRU THE EYE
