I remember mayflies hatching and falling in the water from the weeping willow in grandpas back yard on Ross Barnett resevoir in Jackson, MS... I was about 6 or 7, and I had a cane pole with a popper. I caught HUNDREDS! Great memory... thanks for reminding me of that.

Mike  there is a campground near dead lakes. thats where i do most of my fly fishin. the catfish should be hittin the bream. look on the internet for the campgrounds i dont know the name of them right off hand. i think one is a state park. still waitin for a good hatch of mayflies to hit

YeeHaw for Wewa! I'd heard from friends the fishing is great there. It's close to where I am... can you recomend a good campground near GREAT fishing? Tent camping, all I need is water and fire... and FISH! Any flatheads chasing those bream?

Yea some are red breasted bluegills, they always have a lot of color from this river in wewa fl
