That looks more like a northern-strain to me, or at least a fish that has some northern genes.  But of course that's just an opinion:)

 Tried a sinking spider and even a top water spider........NOTHING, finally went to the Super Cypret Minnow and I guess the temptation was too much.  ( That is an A+ fly ).....Don
