Do you love big bluegill?
The native range is in the brown region but these fish have been doing well in places like the reservoirs in Texas.........Several Black Water rivers in the Carolinas are top shelf "robin" fishing, most often cranking beetle spins.......

Appreciate the map Jeffrey. I'm surprised that with the New River coming up through N.C. and Va. into W.V. that the lower 1/3 of W.V. does't have a native population

used to fish in the streams and lakes outside lexington ky as a kid.spending a month or 2 in the summer with my grandparents so i now i caught them before.was quite a different world than the southside of chicago .
