John-

Thanks for the comment. The only thing close to as fun as a fishing trip, is shareing pictures of fishing trips.

I have and Old Town, Discovery myself (old version of the Discovery, I think they call it an Osprey now). Fourteen footer with 3 seats and the rowing package. It's a great boat! We have caught tons of fish out of it.

Canoes and flyrods go together like peanutbutter and jelly.

Thanks there Kieth!....I saw your recent images also...great!....The canoe(a 12' fiberglass) in my photos was purchased in New Hampshire 20 years ago(lived there for close to 5 years before returning to Minnesota)...It's an "Arundle" made in ...well...Arundle, Maine....I've seen that the company is no longer in business as I once recently tried to find some info on the company.....too bad because it's a beautiful, well balaced,"stable" (42" wide)canoe....resembles an "old towne" alot...which are also out in Maine....I just love this canoe and I've owned many through the years!....own 2 now....the other is an Old Towne 14 footer....

Another really nice, sharply focused, photo. What brand, model of canoe do you have there?
