I would guess he went close to two, Bruce, if not over.  I had a scale with me but it was one of those kitchen scales for weighing vegetables, and of course the thing with those is keeping the fish from flopping off long enough to get a weight, and this guy was already flopping around and I didn't want to lessen his probability of surviving the experience.  I suppose at some point I'll break down and get another digital scale.

Thanks, Leo and Tooty!  I'm wishing on the one hand that I had taken a weight, but these big ones I am loathe to keep out of the water a second longer than necessary.
