I'm going to fish the area pictured here tomorrow before the weather goes down hill with Hurricane Sandy for the weekend......This is the same place I fished yesterday afternoon....

 Although I have seen a couple in extreme Northeastern North Carolina this year, alligators are still rare in this region. I fish this river almost weekly in the Summer and I haven't seen one yet. But with gators thriving in neighboring South Carolina its just a matter of time Greg! You would be alright to float tube in this river
