Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Friend of mine gave me a tip on where to catch some tilapia with floats/worms.I made the trip and wasnt disapointed.Caught 30+ tilapia,1 greenie and 1 cat.Awesome day and now i can scratch tilapia off my bucket list.:)

Thanks Ken and Vince,yes they definetly have a gill shape to them.However i believe they have the capability to get up to 5 pounds.The biggest i caught was at least a pound 1/2.And the reason it was so cool to catch them off of floats/worms was cause they're usually caught with a net.Almost unheard of around here to catch em with a hook......

Nice! We don't have Tilapia here, so unless I can make a long road trip I won't even put Tilapia on my bucket list.

Good looking Tilapia, Mike. Not any I know of here in north GA. They look like a fun fish to catch.

This was the biggest of the day,they put up a nice little fight.Will be going out there in the morning to try my hand at it again.......
