Tim- real nice in fact sweeet! I have not caught a gill yet. The crappies are still bedding. I saw one or two beds. My buddy caught a 10" 2 days ago on fly rod. No more crappies for me.Its in low 50s with thunder and lightning. It will be a couple days before I get out.Are the gills in Kansas on the beds?

Well I'm not sure of where we were at, were near bone creek lake.
I don't think the pit had a name, if it did I never heard it named.

:) what ever they are they fight hard and taste good :)
We caught them all day long, nothing over 9 1/2" but we kept
lots of 9"ers to eat, had a chest full of them when we left.
