I am in agreement about bridges and fish lies Jim .Good observations on your part that I will keep in mind!
Saw some huge White suckers sitting in the shade right there!
i can see myself there john in that picture, the kind of spot i look for.i will always try to fish around or under a bridge first on any stream or river.there is always something there.especially this time of year any shade line provides an ambush point for the fish.i think the biggest fish lay on the deep side of the bridge piers out of the current waiting for any thing that passes by.good test of anyones casting skills under those bridges.
Isn't it though Jim.Good Crayfish and Sculpin foodsource . I've been meaning to try new places and finally fished here .Will be giving this spot a try come Fall Trout stocking and report here on bigbluegill.com!
what a nice spot john
Thanks Dick, it was fun!
A short jaunt at a new location while nearby I renewed my boat registration for another year .
