Looks like you had a good first day with the tenkara pole. When you hit a big one, it gets more interesting without the extra line and drag.

greg, i love my tenkara rod, its got its place wont replace a flyrod but in certain situations its alot better. if youre trying to catch fish about 25' or less away its alot easier but the fixed line is kinda limiting.

haha yup, there was a few schools of them got about 2 dozen on a #14 pink scud, the biggest was about 6in.
