Good deal Charles.......we use to travel through on I-20 heading to Toledo Bend during the 80s and the 90s....be safe out there and share some pics when you get home.....I use to work for Oceaneering but I have settled down to work on submarines the rest of my career.......several family members work off shore.......we're all originally from St. Tammany parish..........
That's the way it is here in north east Louisiana. The white perch (crappie) are on the beds. I'm offshore now but will be coming home in about a week. I'm going to try to catch some crackers when I get in. This will be my first time in years for them.
We are nearing peak on the Sac-a-lait here in coastal North Carolina Charles and that means the gills will be coming in behind them and that's exciting.......Our water temps need a little bump for gill activity to pick up.....I found a few quality gills last Friday but it will pick up big time in April......
Yes indeed. I'm ready to catch me some gills. Caught some nice crappie last week but I would like to catch some bream this year.
My goal is to get you into these Tooty......either way it'll be fun to wet a line together......
OH BOYEEEEEEEEE HERE WE GO SPRING IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER ........
Thanks Carl.....I found a little pocket of shallow water about 6 to 7 degrees warmer than the river itself.....was the difference today......
OMG!!! nice one!!
