Do you love big bluegill?
I have to order baits from this Minnesota company as I can't find them over the counter in North Carolina....
1. Scent infused
2. Fish do short strike these and tear the small plastic up so I fish the jig heads with bait after I run out of the soft tails provided.....multiple colors as well

I like a small indicator in cold water Kelly.....the bites can be so light and often difficult to detect.....remember most of my available water is less than ten feet deep......we're talking thousands of acres of flats and shorelines.....in the winter holes I will still set and indicator right at the water line.......subtle things that work for me.......
Agree when it warms up I go to 1/32 ounce and larger hooks.
R U still suspending these under a bobber, Jeffrey?
I like what you're doing........I plan to add a picture of my baits this year every time I fish in 2021 and talk about it more.....I;ve done it occasionally in the past but many people have asked me throughout the years.........
I stand corrected Northland is in Bemidji, MN
Pretty nifty Kelly....this is exactly the kinds of baits I fish most of the year just for the size variant.....those would definitely catch fish where I go.........people ask me why I tip with live bait often but it's simply a matter of preference......I fish dark tannic water 100% of the time so anything I can do to help attract a fish I will do.......line size doesn't matter where I fish either, I put 10 to 14 pound test on my telescopic poles all summer........helps me catch all the predators that hit while I'm panfishing....
Actually believe Northland is in Wisconsin but not much difference-all froze over right now and for the next 2-3 months.
Anyway in my below picture you'll see some very small ice fishing jigs tipped with Gulp Alive pink waxies(thanks slip sinker for this tip) that I tip a lot of the jigs I throw. These waxies last much longer on the hook than real bait of which only worms and minnows I've had access to-no crickets or grass shrimp. Sometimes I use just the bare hooked jig and other times those with small one inch plastic or feathers like the Lindy little Nipper Jig.
Here is a jig head I made myself by squeezing a small split shot on a long shank Aberdeen fine wire hook tipped with a "lil" minnow.
Concur with all Kelly.........these are perfect for the biggest Fliers I catch and the gills smack them too.......I would have guessed you had seen Northland tackle before......they have alot of ice fishing stuff as well......
Love the scented “lil” minnow like these and others. Even those I’ve bought on eBay work real well.
