Do you love big bluegill?
Fish were coming out along the edges of this structure..slopes off to 10 feet in the center of the channel.

Back before the railroads were completed, this coastal region used wooden barges to transport many goods in the 1800s........they would be loaded right here in this creek off the Pasquotank River......I often reflect on the history as I take on the gills....this water has been here since the colonial days.......
This confederate gun was recovered recently from the Pasquotank river.....the confederate ship was burned and sunk near Elizabeth City in 1862.......Pretty cool to fish these waters with so much history right under your boat....
