Jen, I believe so. Think about venus fly trap. They create secretion to attract flies. Well..flies are nice and green..right? Venus fly trap is nice and green. Well..I'm thinking along the line of Greg's fly..it's nice, flashy, and green, well, adding a bit of attractant color similar to the fly closely resemble the weed's species, it may enhance hookset rate? I dunno..

We can call the fly, "Crappie Cannibus Fly"?

Very selective species. Sheesh..They just want fancy flies over the simple ones heh? So vain..

Hm..I wonder if they take similar color to themselves, using olive chenille with a touch of flash to mimic the species.
