Do you love big bluegill?
We had several nice northern strain Gills today
Water temperatures dropped 8 degrees from my last trip to the river.....This slowed the bite today....

Under ideal conditions visibility may be a foot in these waters....that's why I really have alot of confidence fishing the color and live bait combinations.....

Absolutely Jim......Especially the Coppernose, Crappie and even Shellcrackers and Bass are much darker than in other waters....

Jeffrey...do all of your sunfish species from the tidal rivers tend to have darker coloring than, say, the lake fish you get inland?

Another Northern Ronnie....Thanks...this fish was actually caught on a live dragon fly my nephew caught on the tip of his rod.......Pretty cool!
