Do you love big bluegill?
With water temps above 80 now........the snake activity is really picking up...........I even poked this snake twice and it didn't take off..........

In Coastal North Carolina the water moccasin and the common brown banded water snake look very similar..........I believe this one to be the later but I couldn't get this one to take off.........if a water snake the entire body would be submerged while swimming but in the case of a cottonmouth the entire snake would be on the surface.........the head looks a bit flatter than that of a moccasin as well..............either way I give them plenty room.........I have seen the water snakes up to 6 pushing 7 feet around the Albemarle...........
what kind of snake is it. I would pee myself If I saw that thing
