JEN I WILL ATTEMPY SOMETHING TODAY ON THIS BUT REMEMBER ONE THING: IT'S HARD TO IMPROVE ON PERFECTION AND THIS ONE IS JUST THAT ! SIMPLE AND BUGGY LOOKING AND NO WONDER IT'S YOUR GO TO BUG!
Hi guys! See you're talking about my "go to" fly.....it's a GILL getter!
Thanks, Greg! I'm not sure what tying in a dubbing loop means, but I'm sure Google can help me with that :-) I recently found a huge box of fly tying supplies, with a couple books and a few tying magazines at Goodwill. Haven't fully sorted it yet, but I remember seeing some peacock herl in there (and even a dozen or two finished flies in various patterns; it was an impossible bargain; hundreds of dollars worth of stuff, if bought new). There's so much stuff I'm going to have to get a little chest of drawers to sort and label it. Will definitely give the Naybee a whirl!
JB, This is the Naybee and recipe, simple and REALLY EFFECTIVE!!!!!!!!!!
The recipe is below!!!!!!
One WORD of WARNING, take HEMOSTATS!!!!!!!
