got it on my barricaded worm ( the rascal as I call them) it put up a good fight on a 3 wt rod!

Nice fish! Those Redear are just so much fun on light rods! They seem to give up sooner than Bluegill, but that initial run and fight after hooking them is great! I'm going to try and make it to Lake Havasu this spring, to try for one of those 3 to 5 pounders.
