Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Okuma Celilo 5' ul graphite paired with a Diawa Crossfire reel filled with 6 lb braid.
I have plans to finally try 4lb Nanofil on this setup with a spare spool. I have caught lm bass up to 4 lbs on this rig.

I would love to try some 4 lbs test Nanofil, provided I could afford it, and actually find it.  I think the lowest I've seen is 8 or 6 lbs test.  I've heard really good things about 2 and even 1 lbs test Nanofil.  Something to try out with some of those heavy-head tungsten jig-flies I've got.

Yep... im always swapping out colors and sizes till i get it right. ive never noticed any difference in performance. i used to tie on all the time but is a pain because i use a polamar knot.less slippage with braid

Are you using a snap with the jig?
