Do you love big bluegill?
Caught 43 gills on a very pleasant 64 degree morning with heavy fog.....Warm week has pushed the water temperatures back into the mid 70s.....

Sudden temperature drops during the Fall is a bite killer in this region......I dread the first strong cold front that serves to shut us down........Up to now we have just varied five to six degrees during a 24 hour period and that is the normal course of the sun and moon.............this often gives you a peak bite very early in the day or after sunset....
Yeah...we have low 70 degree water around here. Surprised that the fish are still so active. Going to be a quick turnover for some of our lakes.
Active gills caught at three to four feet today adjacent to cover.......good times......
